This apprenticeship program offers the opportunity to work with a small group of people over an extended period of time delving deep within the heart of herbal knowledge. Emphasis is on the foundation of herbalism combined with lots of hand on experience, exploring all aspects of herbal study. Learn how to improve your family’s health or prepare for a rewarding career as a consultant, educator or private practitioner.
The apprenticeship program is comprehensive, giving students the skills necessary to become an accomplished herbalist. Each body system is studied intensely to understand each herb association, focusing on case studies and constitutional remedies. From wild-crafting, to using herbs as food and medicine, to the art of herbal preparation and therapeutics, this program will take you from the classroom into the ancient art of herbalism, awakening the wise healer within you. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the program.
This program is also designed for those students traveling from a distance. A clinically oriented approach, offering comprehensive study of the organ systems, herbal therapies, and case studies. Includes David Hoffmann’s 900 page text, “Therapeutic Herbalism”, study guides and materials. A comprehensive way to cover this subject from both David’s and Melanie’s perspectives. Students will also have the opportunity for hands on learning.
This is a 9 month program (Saturday/Sunday classes 1 weekend per month).

This program fills quickly, only six students accepted per class. For your convenience, a payment plan is available of $175.00 per month, also all major credit cards are accepted.
